601 CELLARS

Our Wines

601 Cellars produces hand-crafted, limited production, California wines made with “Off the Grid” Old World varietals that are hard to find. We source our grapes in small lots from premier vineyards in the Napa Valley and Sierra Foothills. Our fruit is picked ripe to bring out the bright, rich color and flavor of California fruit and aged for at least 24 months in neutral oak barrels to preserve the natural characteristics of each varietal. Our philosophy is make wines that are approachable to any palate or pocketbook and enjoyed any night of the week with pizza, pasta, family and friends.

2019 Rose’ of Grenache- Napa Valley

NAPA VALLEY

Our 2019 Rose’ of Grenache comes from the McGah Family Heritage Vineyard in Rutherford, CA. The
grapes were picked early and processed using the traditional method of whole cluster press and barrel
fermentation to build richness and complexity. It’s subtle hue and aromas of wild strawberries and rose
petals prepare the palate for bright flavors of fresh summer fruit that hints of minerality and vibrant
acidity. Perfect for sipping on a summer afternoon but complex enough for the dining room.
